Camera Distortion is Broken. Camera wont stay disabled
When you put the ECM on the camera to disable it, the camera comes back to life 5-10 seconds later. Previously, even on heists where the camera runtime only lasted 5 seconds as the modifier, it would permanently disable to camera. Kinda makes the skill useless now. This happened on occasion before the update today on 2/29/2024, but now happens all the time

Alexis MergedPlacing the ECM next to a cam shuts it off for the 5 seconds as if a runtime was spent to loop the cam, then it goes back to normal due to the Cerberus modifier. Now there's zero reason to use the Cam Distortion skill.

Alexis MergedSince I posted and I couldn't edit, it seems the placed ECMs stop working on normal cams if I immediately run away and/or turn around so they're not rendered on my screen. Like the only way to force the cams to stay deactivated is to sit and stare at the ECM for like 5 seconds, then I can go about my business. Even then it's a crapshoot if the cam turns on again if I go too far away.

Oh and the main post was regarding Cerberus cams on Turbid Station. Not that the skill likes to work elsewhere :( -

Dedicate MergedIt's lag based sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't also this is obvious but make sure if you're trying to do that check the build you're running has the skill that allows ECMs to do that.

Kiba2134 MergedYou cannot block cameras on Turbid Station with ECMs, while having the skills for it, for longer than 5s when the modifier cerberus core is NOT in use. (well aware cerberus core prevents this)
Camera loop works as intended without the modifier.... -

goah_simulator_3I have a new report.
In "No Rest For the Wicked", we discovered a bug where if there is a security room next to the stairs, the camera distortion will be disabled by "breaking into the rooftop storage room or server room".
Similarly, in all Heists, simply entering the "Security Room" will disable camera distortion.
The Youtube URL below is a video of the proof. This is only played in "No Rest For the Wicked", but the conditions for entering the security room can be reproduced in all Heists.

Phantom2144I think even with the cerberus core it should disable that camera like the skill description says it would bc it doesn't hack into the cam, it quite literally turns the cam off. I guess it would be explained by disrupting the electricity to the cam or something so even with the cerberus core it shouldn't be able to come back online until the ecm is removed or used up.
