Heister Interaction lines like in PDTH
Payday The Heist had voice lines during heists that added soul to the game. Diamond Heist had the crew discussing about other options when the code didn't work for the vault, leading to them capturing one of the civs and Bain interrogating and killing them for the new code. Payday 2 lacked those voice lines even after 10 years. Payday 3 should have those voice lines, since the budget has increased and adding a few voice lines to the game would add a lot to the overall gameplay in my opinion.

RickyYou’d think a crew like this would be communicating to one another to insure everything goes right.

mcmase1212I'm not sold on this one, honestly.

This is a "want" not a "need" in terms of gameplay.
Most of the time I'm actually communicating IRL with my friends, so I don't hear in-game lines anyway. Still, I do agree that voice lines would be good for immersion and general "coolness" of the game, but it doesn't solve the core issues PD3 is suffering from and won't bring back the community. So this shouldn't take much priority atm, imo.
PD3 needs real skill overhauling, added RNG/replayability for EVERY heist, and proper progression goals to make players greed for cash again before this becomes a "need" issue.
I would even rather they work on safehouse and preplanning first.
Not to disparage the post, but I read so many "make this change" posts on here that can't possible be priority or fix the game and this one had upvotes (I also upvoted), but again, I don't think is priority yet. I do wish we could have it all. -

NOTpenismangamingCan't hope for much here since we already have seven (eight once land of the free is out) heisters, and we'll probably get more...

RickyThis is possible as they often do as many lines as possibly in one session to save on time and convenience, It just comes down to if they’re willing to write lines for each heister and each heist as it could take some time to write good lines of dialogue.

AndrewI would like to see this more, especially after some replays of PDTH recently.

The WhistlerI'm all for it, though I think they should separate hand gestures and shouts to different wheels.
I noticed when I use an emote it cuts the current dialogue that's playing. Allowing us make hand gestures without heister shouts would possibly prevent that from happening. Then we shouldn't have to worry about folk spamming "Piece of shit drill" the whole heist either. Down the road I'm hoping there are enough hand gestures and different shout-outs to make our own heist stories in a sense. I already get some good laughs with the tools available to us. -

jickyjickywaowwI genuinely believe this is a "NEED" and not a "want" - A huge reason Left 4 Dead was so popular as a franchise, was because of how believable the world was due to the many character interactions. I fully expected PAYDAY 3 to realise the importance of this and was deeply unsettled to find out that they STILL don't talk to one another in a believable way.

Even worse, now we don't even get contractors to talk during heists - it's only been Shade so far.. and quite frankly, this has been a huge detriment to her character. It's OK as an introduction but it seriously stops her character from going through any developement because she's become the omnipotent narrator who's just always there. It sucks.
Character interaction can't be missing from a good game - it is a very definitive "MUST"!!! -

Kizu MergedHeisters that have run together as long as the PAYDAY gang oughta be chatty on the job. Especially in the chaos that is Loud. Why doesn't Hoxton yell at Houston referencing Hoxout during Houstout? Why won't Dallas complain about his aging back to Joy as they're carrying loot?
At the end of the day PAYDAY 3 is supposed to be a heisting fantasy and the fact that the heisters don't feel alive and personable makes it feel more like a heisting slog. There needs to be a system with lots of VO where Heisters will comment on things happening, share anecdotes and generally just communicate about the goings on in the heist.
Think back to PD:H - you had unique interactions, even if scripted between heisters on missions. PAYDAY 3 should bring it to a new level. Dynamic storytelling in heist beyond just the core of the mission.
Guys, the voiceovers, go get them. -
