[Feedback] Voice Chat
Please bring voice chat to the game so players can communicate with each other more better in PC and also so PC players can communicate with cross play players. Makes things go way more easier if communication is on point and plus it’s essential for tactical players!

Hypnoto MergedI think having a default muffled voice through a radio would sound immersive and a little funny. The radio should be push-to-talk and not be held down continuously. Make it with radio sound when it is turned on! Should be able to turn proximity chat off, if you're host, and the muffled radio effect (client-side) so that it may sound clear. I am not sure on this, but there are some instances where I might find it amusing.

Eeasy MergedIt's a team based game. Communication is cooperation. How is strategy to be determined without the use of verbal coms. Lobbies don't know what their teammates intentions are loud or stealth. People can't make call outs mid game. No one knows what equipment to bring or skills to use

Panda MergedFor a co-op game it's really hard to do heists such as Surphaze without being able to coordinate with my team. Even dirty ice can be hard when new players don't know to clean the jewls. Voice chat is NEEDED.

Nick MergedPayday 3 is a game where it is highly incentivized that you coordinate with your teammates, especially on higher difficulties. As a console player, I would love the option to have in-game voice chat both in the lobby menu and while playing a heist.

Jess Shields MergedFor me, voice chat is essential for a heist game. We had it in PD2, we need it in 3. Not being able to plan or communicate really makes it hard for me to enjoy the game. This just doesn't make sense.

Nathan MergedI play on Xbox, my friend plays on PS5. We have since stopped playing payday 3 because it's the only game we have that has cross-play but NO chat, I'm not sure if even text chat works for console, and PS5 has no discord app, so we cant easily use other methods. Can't believe such a basic feature was not added. We don't have other methods to communicate that are even somewhat convenient, the quick chat options are useless for planning and coordination. I'm sure at least a few if not many players are in the same boat as me. Voice chat is a basic feature and expected in virtually every multiplayer game, most of which you aren't playing as a team that requires careful planning and on the fly plan changes. Makes no sense and takes away from an otherwise enjoyable game.

A Payday Day1 Fan MergedHello, I have been playing Playday since the beginning. As the games become more expensive, and not to mention the rough start of launch, please add Game Chat. How is this game about upmost communication (as the game states) if there is no game chat?! Please look into this, because it's a bit ridiculous. I am more than open for a call or email if you need more incite on how to make this game more appetizing.

ChrisI'm in the same boat as "Nathan" above. We are trying to cross play PS5 and Xbox. The game is useless to us without the ability to chat. We didn't even consider the need to verify it as this is a basic and expected feature in today's gaming. Without chat we have no reason to own this game. Are there refunds?

BenIt's infuriating playing with low levels, I'm always happy to show them how, but there aren't enough chat options to communicate so it always goes wrong because they aren't sure what we're trying to do.

Also, croos platform play is impossible with friends as you can't chat when you're in "social" together. Which seems like a complete oversight. -

Global - When players are far away,
You will have a walkie talkie to communicate with the players,
but your voice will also sound like it's coming from a walkie talkie.
Why should this be added?
It would make it more immersive.
You can coordinate with your nearby player without distracting others that are away from you. -

GoldenQuestVoicechat is a necessity for the game as its played by console and pc players alike. Adding voice chat is a good idea, with the ability to mute players if they choose to be toxic. Voice chat will improve lobbies with friends on different platforms, and improve public lobbies allowing for clear communication.

Bjorn MergedIn almost all games I can think of if u play a game with other ppl u can chat with them on mics. On payday u have to send friend request then party chat just to talk to someone your playing with. Rocket League if I play a game with someone who has a mic on u can talk to them. Yet payday where the game is immensely better chatting on mic while heisting you have to be friends and party chat?
