[Feedback] Stealth/loud filter for matchmaking

This seems like a must for the full game. Unless heists are single tactic, it seems impossible to have a good experience in public match making. Stealth players continue to get their heists ruined by people attempting to play loud. While loud players keep having stealth heisters quitting/forcing restarts. This issue seems to be compounded by an inability to communicate with people in the lobby before the heist fully starts.

In public lobbies people have no idea what approach is being taken. There should be a way to show this in the UI to all players.

I really want to do stealth but it seems 99% of people want loud at the moment. Why can't we choose this option the same was as PD2. It's such a staple part of the gameplay!

Yes agree here, finding matches with others could do with many improvements. This flag is probably the most important.

But it would also be good to allow player to select a bunch of preferences when finding games. For example, players could set a preferred difficulty (or no preference), set preferred approach such as stealth, loud (or no preference), preferred heist (or no preference for specific heist). Then the game just puts you in a good lobby.

i would love a neutral / hybrid heist indicator, where everyone is ok with stealth, but if it goes loud, no one has to worry about pressure to restart over and over

Pre-game chat in lobby would also just solve the issue for the most part as well as Vote kick or host kick. But a little Stealth or loud icon like in payday 2 would be great as well.
Maybe even all of the above.

This game need need needs a server browser with Difficulty, heist, and Loud/Stealth filters.

I just wanna play high difficulty loud heists, but people keep queueing with stealth builds.

I would love an option to choose if you prefer Loud/Stealth when you choose a heist.

Like you choose the heist, then what you prefer and it puts you in those games where the other players choosed the same thing. If its not available it puts you in a game anyways.

Imagine it like choosing your role in MMOBAs its just a preference not guaranteed.

Sometimes i just like to shoot stuff and sometimes i want to stealth, but with completely random matchmaking its quiet hard if my group wants to stealth but im here with my Loud build and am not in the mood for stealth.

Since we have no way to communicate on console this would be a really cool addition.

I think its not that hard to implement and for me it would be a game changer!

There is a clear divide between "Stealth only" and "Loud only" heisters. When playing on Overkill, it can be extremely punishing not to bring the correct loadout according to playstyle. It's crucial to ensure your team knows beforehand what your intent or preferred playstyle is.
Some Heisters tend to bring a "Stealth only" or "Loud only" build. This leads to issues where if the team ends up going loud due to a mistake, restart is the very first thing on stealthers' minds as they simply do not wish to engage in loud gameplay OR they do not have the correct build for it. While there ARE some players who bring hybrid builds and can and prefer to "play it out", this mentality only really benefits loud players while stealth players are quick to leave heists outright.
My solution would be to have a role indicator in both the lobby as well as in-game (for joiners) for players to show whether they intend to play stealth, loud or are prepared or either.

Sadly like most suggestions, it's not letting me upvote.

We need the LOUD/STEALTH option when selecting the heist we're interested in running and about to matchmake. There's nothing like waiting for the matchmake to place us into a lobby... then possibly a 4-5 minute lobby waiting for players to ready up... then 30 seconds into the heist another player shooting an unsuppressed weapon ruining the potential stealth run we were hoping for.
