Taking instant cash is not satisfying as in Payday 2 (indicator for secured bags and loose loot)

It felt very good in Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 because there was some kind of feedback. You could see the amount of cash you actually picked up AND it played a little sound. In Payday 3 this is completely gone and loose cash just feels like "air".

What did I just pick up? Did I pick up 1$ or 1 million $ ?

Like in payday 2, there was a pretty good thing that you always knew, how much the valuable thing from deposit boxes/safes (gold bar, jewel etc.) really are.

Yes I suggested the same, this seriously should be changed. The visual and audio feedback as to how much money you have actually secured is super satisfying and needed.

In PD2 the amount of cash was mostly negligible but at least we were able to tell :) Also I noticed the cash stacks are different so I guess they are, but how am I supposed to know from within the game?

I agree. The little pop up message with the sound made it really fun to do in Payday 2. Here, it's as if you were doing nothing at all.

Agreed. Everytime you grab some instant cash item in Payday 2, the little jingle and amount of cash that gave popping up always gave you that little boost of endorphin. In Payday 3 it just doesn't have the same 'oompf'.

Really just needs some kind of pop-up or indicator with +$X, along with a corresponding sound effect. PDTH had it with the exp bar and it was incredibly satisfying to hear and see it tick up when grabbing loose cash. PD2 did this, but the pop-up was in the middle of the screen, which were very annoying. Something short and unobtrusive would be nice.

When grabbing loose loot, you're not notified of how much money you got out of it and I believe this is the same when throwing bag loot into the van. Not knowing how much you're getting makes it feel much less rewarding in the moment, sure I grabbed 10 bundles of cash but how much was it and should I even have bothered when I don't know how much it was worth

Would be nice to have a total value secured shown which goes up as you secure bags and small pickups - Feels more satisfying that way, to know how much you've secured before leaving the heist. Also helps with deciding whether you want to get more cash or not.

In Payday 2 it was super satisfying to see the item pop up whenever you threw a bag into the van. Payday 3 hardly gives you a confirmation that the bag even got to where it needed to. I feel this would be a small, but nice quality of life change that the devs could add when the larger issues are taken care of.

I think having the pop-up for when you grab loose cash and secure bags that tell you how much money you get from them is sorely missed. It gave a player a better heads up on how much you have earned so far and if it was worth risking it to get more.

Bring back the dopamine hit from the noise and visual identifier you got in PayDay2 when securing bags. Make it show the value of the bag on-screen, sound is not really needed but atleast bring back the visual identifier.

Can we bring back the "Bag is secured" popup in some form? Because on certain heists like Rock the Cradle its unknown whether the bag you throw is secured or it just disappeared. Also would be great to see the amount of bags you secured in summary (when you press Tab)

Pretty self explanatory in PD2, when a bag was secured you would receive an on screen confirmation along with the value of the secured loot, this would be a great addition to PD3 to make bag looting feel more satisfying

In game I noticed that some money piles added 20% to the goal while others added only 10%. The game never made it clear that visually smaller piles were worth less and I thought it was a stylistic change by the developers to add more interesting looking loot piles and not an actual indication of value.

Payday 3 needs to tell you the bags worth when you secure esch bag like in Payday 2. Seeing Cash: $350,000 or Gold, Meth, Coke etc etc is far more immersive and fun then seeing just Loot Secured or Gold. Lets me know how much money im making and is very satisfying to see on harder difficulties. Also lets me learn overtime the worth of bags rather than guess or divide the final pay.

It's not just boring and unsatisfying, it's basically pointless because the dollar value is extremely low compared to the time involved in looting it. I've looted all of them and you get something like 7k or 15k vs ~250+k for the bags.

The worst part is there will be constants noobs to the game that try and open every single one even after they already found 2 cash bags. It needs to be more obvious that you're kind of wasting your time. Either that or making it more random so it's at least interesting where you might get like 8 bags or only 2. That would give some incentive for solo too since you can only do about 6 dye packs by yourself.

Heists should have more bags on higher difficulty too. I really like in Payday 2 on Firestarter when there are two warehouses you have to loot on higher difficulty instead of just the one. If you only got like 6 or 8 bags it doesn't take 4 guys long to move, kind of over before it begins.

Normal - 8 bags
Hard - 12 bags
Very Hard - 16 bags
etc...
