[Feedback] Remove Denuvo

Denuvo is a detriment to performance, removing it will allow more people with lower-end hardware to play (and buy) the game.

The boost in performance will also help the rest of the player-base, I'm thinking in particular about SteamDeck users, who need every fps they can get.

Does it affect the performance? If so yes please, playing on the lowest possible options, sometimes 45 fps average 50-60. (1060 3gb)

Please remove denuvo. It's been already proved that it absolutely should not be in any modern game, because it can be hacked and it wastly reduces the peroformance.

++ Denuvo is a hindrance and does not actively protect IP. Especially when the game is always online and requires connection to a server...

Additionally, game assets are still leaking already. Meaning Denuvo isn't protecting anything.

game is fun for me even if my gaming laptop could handle around 30 to 20 fps but its still playable for me but atleast the denuvo needs to be removed since the game is already a online only and it needs a account to play it so it doesn't need denuvo for it and also i hope for launch gets a good optimization for low spec gaming PCs.

Denuvo is the best way to give a middle finger to the players that have purchased the game (90% of them) giving them terrible performance and a lot of trouble, imagine a denuvo free game playable on linux :o, too bad this wont be it, right?

I agree, I sit on a 2080 Super with 60-80 fps on all low except textures at high which is a joke. I like the game but unacceptable fps and since it's an online game no one will pirate it anyway. Games where online access for unlocks etc are needed are usually not pirated in the same way so not sure why you decided on Denuvo in the first place. It's like CSGO having Denuvo or L4D2, people buy these games to get access to other people that bought it and play together which is something I doubt is possible with a pirated version.

Poor performance, black screen / crashes mid heist resulting in having to power off PC via holding power button... Had this issue with other denuvo protected games.

i get about 25 to 30 fps on low settings, I have to change my resolution to the lowest to get 60 fps, denuvo always ruins performance and the game is online only, no reason to have it.

Please don't continue with Denuvo. Have a look at other titles using it and verify that it only caused the community to be unhappy about it with close to no actual use for it.

Doesn't really stop people from doing anything. It's really easy to bypass as we've seen with lots of other games and even this game already.

I would like to share my impressions about the game. I cannot overlook the issue with optimization.
The game suffers from terrible optimization. Regardless of the graphics settings I choose - be it ultra or very low, the FPS fluctuates between 70-110 and is constantly plagued by periodic spikes and freezes. Unfortunately, none of the settings seem to have a noticeable impact on performance.
I understand that game development is a complex and multifaceted process, and optimization can be a challenging task. Nevertheless, I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that the quality of optimization significantly influences the overall gaming experience.
Many players, like myself, strive to enjoy the game in a smooth and seamless manner. I hope that you will be understanding and take necessary steps to improve the optimization.
Thank you for your hard work and efforts in creating this game, and I hope for your attention to this matter.

The game automatically sets everything to high for me, I hope is because my GTX1650 can handle them graphics. However, lowering some settings doesn't help with the performace, the counter says between 40-60 fps and during case mode and kinda goes lower 40fps during assaults. Now I get why the performance suffers, please remove Denuvo.

i genuinely cannot get more than 20-30fps despite having relatively good hardware and the game barely using more than half of my pc's available resources, it's insane to think that they need the most invasive antipiracy for what is already an always online game.

+ the Hogwarts Legacy game was packaged with denuvo and later cracked, the performance difference between the denuvo and cracked non denuvo was 10-20 fps and way less stuttering! I understand the need for something like denuvo in singleplayer games, but this is an online only title, and it could use a performance boost.

I've been following this franchise since 2012 and as much as I love every change that was made for Payday 3, performance should be the TOP priority over all. Denuvo IS going to have an impact on it and so should definitely not be in this game.

Denuvo absolutely butchers framerate. It is not the way to go. I know it's supposed to deter pirates. But it only ends up hurting the experience for all players.

I get it's for the sake of piracy but please just give it up, because it will hurt performance with PCs that have less-than-stellar CPUs and/or hard drives/SSDs. Besides look at The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, these are games without DRM and have sold millions. The reasons people pirate games is because games are expensive and while putting the price for the base game at $40 USD is nice, for some, it's still too expensive. Running with Scissors understands this and doesn't add DRM to their games. Why can't you?

yeah totally agree, my RTX 2070 super suffers A LOT, my fps while playing payday 3 almost surpass 60 fps and it goes down that sometimes because of that anti cheat system, also modding is a needed thing for lots of players, denuvo prevents modding at all.. so its hated by the community.

Minimum specs are joke. I have way more better pc and i still get like 50fps and game is not stabile.
Optimize your game first. Nowadays it feels like its common to publish game thats poorly optimazed.

Game is already going to be online only so why you have to add Denuvo? ?
